The contactors covered in this document are primarily used in circuits with AC 50Hz (or 60Hz) and a rated operating voltage up to 600V. Under the AC-3 usage category, when the rated operating voltage is 380V, the rated operating current can be up to 95A.
These contactors are designed for long-distance connection and disconnection of circuits and can be combined with appropriate thermal overload relays or electronic protective devices to form motor starters, providing protection for circuits that may experience overloads.
They are also suitable for frequent starting and control of AC motors.
The standard on which this contactor is based is GB14048.4-2003.
